Make sure to go early as this is the same night as our Holiday Benefit Concert. The flyer is attached below.

Proceeds from this concert will be sent to Kingswood HS in Humble, TX which lost nearly all of their music during Hurricane Harvey this summer.

Enjoy an evening of singing holiday carols, tasty treats of hot chocolate and cookies and a performance by Addison Trail’s Shades of Blue choral group.

Course Selections for 2018-19

It's hard to believe that its already time to begin thinking about the 2018-19 school year. Students in performing ensembles should re-enroll in the music courses they are currently enrolled(i.e. If you are in Symphonic Band currently, tell your counselor to enroll you in that course for next year). In the spring, the music staff will then assign students to the appropriate classes based on class performance and/or auditions. All music students should request Musical Sectional lunch as well and students who play jazz instruments should also enroll in Jazz Ensemble I.

IMPORTANT: Students who will be juniors or seniors next year should consider enrolling in AP Music Theory! Students who take AP Music Theory and get a 3 or above are more likely to get college credit for required humanities courses in college than for AP courses that are related to their major. This is a great way to get college credit for all that you have learned as a musician at ATHS.
